Casualties of WW1 and WW2
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission maintains the final resting places of memorials to our Canadian soldiers who died in the service of their county.  Through their website you can determine if your soldier died, when and the cemetery where he is buried or the memorial on which his name is listed.
We were able to use the CWGC records, church records, honour rolls, monuments etc. to determine the names of Tillsonburg and area soldiers that died during these wars.
From this information we were able to assist the Rotary Club of Tillsonburg in the creation of a plaque, which is now attached to the Town Mall Cenotaph and contains the names of our Fallen.
